after the longest craziest day it is now my turn to sit and express my appreciation and love for this fine man. ITS CHANCE DAY!!! 🥰 i dont have the best words with these things as you do but i know you know how much i love you. its beyond words. thank you for always being there for me especially when the going gets tough. you have one of the sweetest and kindest souls i have been blessed with meeting. thank you for making each day better than the last. nobody in this world i would rather watch darts and pet farm animals with 🥹🖤 cannot wait for all the birthdays with you:)

Year 3 ✅

Every year it gets better. You traveled far and wide (some of you, internationally, which is something I still can’t wrap my head around) to come hang out with us this weekend and get a glimpse of our community.

I never intended for this to spread to anyone outside of Wisconsin. I just wanted to do something cool for our community. It’s become obvious now that our community is a lot bigger than just what’s in Milwaukee, what’s in Wisconsin, or even what’s in the Midwest. We’re so happy to have you.

Thanks for 3 sold out years in a row, for singing along, stage diving, and otherwise being a part of this thing that means so much to us. We’re working on some additional things apart from the fest that we’re really stoked to roll out. More on that in a couple of months. We’ll see you around soon.

i’m a guy that does a lot of stuff myself. i’ve always preferred it that way, but one thing i’ve really had to learn with booking and running a fest (even on this small of a scale) is that you can’t do it alone. i think a lot of us that do this will agree that the hardest part is not the work itself, but finding the people you can trust to handle things for you and run it up to your own standards. i feel incredibly lucky to have these folks in my corner and i think they deserve the recognition for making this fest the absolute best version of itself.

the burn bright team is:

@j_mes.exe - who has made all of the graphics for the festival from day 1
@benskowronek - who has manned the merch table every year and sold all of our stuff
@samerghani - who took great video footage this year that i can’t wait to show you all
@natottomusic - who made every band sound amazing this weekend
@side2side.imagery - who took this picture, and has consistently made us look awesome every year with his photos
@jaycubalan - who couldn’t join us, but books the festival with me and listens to me be insane about it all day, and somehow doesn’t hate me yet.

thanks to all of you, all of our amazing bar and door staff, and everyone who attended our 3rd sold out year in a row. i’m more motivated than i’ve ever been to deliver on year 4. it’s gonna be tough. but if there’s anything i’m good at, it’s finding a way.
