Only took 3 months to go through all the amazing pictures & videos 😂 But looking through all of them brought me right back to this special day and how loved we both felt being surrounded by so many of our favorite people. It’s so rare to have everyone in the same place at the same time, and it truly was the best day! 🤍🤍

The weather almost ruined this shoot in Positano…

That evening began with a storm on the horizon — heavy, cinematic, almost theatrical in the way it rolled in over the sea. For a moment, everything felt paused… like the world was holding its breath between scenes.

And then, just as quickly, it softened.

The rain passed, the light returned, and the coast became something else entirely — quieter, warmer, almost dreamlike. A place where time slows down and you stop trying to control the story, you just live inside it.

This is how it always feels here. A little unpredictable. A little wild. Completely honest.

We’re drawn to this kind of beauty — the kind that doesn’t pose, doesn’t repeat, doesn’t ask for permission. Just old cinema energy, salt in the air, and two people moving through it like they belong in the frame.

If you feel this kind of life…
you’ll understand why we keep coming back.

What a weekend! 🎪

Our crew had an absolute blast bringing Governors Ball to life! Long days, early mornings, plenty of problem-solving, and every challenge was worth it when we saw thousands of fans enjoying the experience we helped create.

Huge thanks to our amazing clients and partners for trusting us to be part of it.

One thing I always tell couples is that every celebrant has a different style, approach and way they like to run a ceremony and honestly, that’s such a good thing.

Some celebrants love keeping things more traditional. Some are open to non-traditional ideas. Some sit somewhere in between. There’s genuinely no right or wrong way to do it, which is exactly why finding someone who feels like the right fit for you matters so much.

For me personally, one thing I really pride myself on is creating ceremonies that feel entirely like the couple standing in them.

I always joke with my couples that if they wanted me to deliver their ceremony while doing a handstand, I’d probably give it a go… although I may pass out halfway through.

But jokes aside, I love when couples bring elements into their ceremony that actually feel reflective of them.

Because I think sometimes during wedding planning, it’s easy to get caught up in how things are supposed to look instead of thinking about how they’re actually going to feel in the moment.

Not just for you, but for your guests too.

I’ve spent the past week writing a ceremony for a couple incorporating so many little things that feel true to them and honestly, I already know their guests are going to be completely engaged in it because it feels personal and intentional.

And that doesn’t always mean doing something wildly unconventional either.

Sometimes it’s shots handed out instead of flower petals.
Sometimes it’s both partners having their own big entrance.
Sometimes it’s flower grandmas, private vows, involving your dog, or completely changing the structure of a ceremony altogether.

And sometimes it’s keeping everything beautifully traditional because that’s what feels right for you.

That’s the point.

Your ceremony should feel like something you connect to, not something you planned because you felt like it’s what weddings are “supposed” to look like.

My biggest advice?

Plan a ceremony you’ll walk away from with no regrets.

Save this for when wedding planning starts feeling noisy.
