It’s been a week since Rock of Ages closed, and there are so many things I loved about this show:

- I loved being able to sing some of the songs I grew up with in a show my dad would have loved.

- I loved being able to hit notes that I couldn’t have dreamed of before (Thanks Scott) and being able to sometimes play some notes on the sax (Thanks Kai).

- Selfishly, I loved being able to see my name at the top of a cast list and a program. I’ve been doing theatre in this city for 10 years, so it felt good to feel like it paid off.

- Most of all, I loved being able to meet and become friends with so many cool, talented people. Performing with them is what I’ve been missing the most. I love you all deeply and can’t wait until we can do it again.

Things I don’t love after this show: Arby’s and Cool Ranch Doritos
