Mix has become an iconic destination in Brussels. Every day, countless people pass through on their way to the gym, the garden, the restaurant, or the hotel.

BUREAU ROUGE’s intention was to create a contemplative film that invites viewers to slow down and appreciate the space, the architectural masterpiece of the building, as well as its details, both inside and out.

We have been working with @mix.brussels for the past two years. Throughout our projects together, we have always aimed to showcase the essence of Mix and what makes it come alive.

With this project, our goal was to capture the building’s details and beauty, highlighting the shapes and character that make Mix truly unique.

Bureau Rouge’s intention with this project is not to tell a story, but to offer a space for contemplation. Every detail, however subtle, contributes to the poetry of a regulated world where nothing is ever entirely normal.

This film invites the audience to observe, to question, and to sense that something is unfolding without ever being spoken aloud. Curiosity is the entry point. Elegant strangeness is the guiding thread.

For the latest project, ‘La Mariée’ , @iljadeweerdt styled all the actors on set. She brought a wide range of fabrics, outfits, and textures, an incredible job that also reflects the kind of people we love collaborating with when it comes to production.

Producing is always a collaboration between creatives, and that’s exactly what we strive for with Bureau Rouge.
