Where to bring eight of your closest friends, 14 people you somehow invited or legit everyone you know. Planning a birthday dinner in New York starts innocently enough. You make a group chat. Taking the time to share a closer look at why we’re building this community. In a time where everything is built for speed and efficiency, we value slowing down. We value the clunky journey. We want to ask questions for the sake of wondering, not for instant answers. The name Haven Affair comes from a promise to ourselves: to dedicate time (a scheduled important event or affair) to craft our time on the mat for self love through movement wherever we go (your haven). A promise to invest in ourselves and make space for wondering: what do I actually want? We know the first step to not settling is having a standard to compare it to, and that crafting a dream life starts with wondering what that looks like.
