I can’t believe this time has come. From the first time I picked up a ball to my final game, basketball has been more than just a sport to me, it’s been a part of who I am. I lived this game every single day, through the highs, the lows, the early mornings, the late nights and all the injuries.

None of this would’ve been possible without my dad. Thank you for introducing me to the game, being there every step of the way and only missing less than 10 games in my whole career. You started something in me that will never leave.

Thank you Gio and Eva for always coming to my games and being there in the stands, and to my mom for being my constant supporter through it all even when you got more nervous for games than I did.

I’m grateful for every coach who pushed me, believed in me, and helped shape me into the player and person I am today. To everyone else that came and supported me along my journey thank you! Lastly, to all the teammates and friends I’ve made along the way. To all the memories, the battles, moments, and happiness this game brought me… I’ll cherish them forever.

This chapter may be closing, but everything this game gave me will stay with me for life. I’ll miss this so much…time to become a doctor👩🏽‍⚕️
