BillyStock/Jerry day 2026 was one for the books! 🥹🔥Thank you so much @billystrings for holding such an awesome birthday party for Jer! 🪽🙏
And thank you Jerry for existing and bringing my parents together back in the 90’s! If it wasn’t for that man , I would’ve never been born !

If we can learn anything from these leaders of the strings and our community/culture , it would be “Not forgetting the love we bring “ - “mesmerized and satisfied with the beauty that has found me “📣 that part!
As well as the fact it takes a bluegrass boy to lead a pack of strings !😂🔥
Thank you to everyone who showed up to say hi or purchase some merchandise! It keeps our spirits and pockets sustained to make it to the next show each time !
And thank you to my fam for being the raddest mfs on the planet !

Hope we get to do it again next year ! 😇

GD60 - day 1 - Friday @billystrings @deadandcompany

it’s been 7 months & i still cannot describe what this day or weekend felt & meant to me but friday was for sure my favorite day of the 3.

the crowd on the polo field was insane. it was friday, jerry’s birthday. the left side sphere fam spread the word to wear white this day for jerry’s bday… naturally, i was going to make my way, front left, hoping to find fam. once we got in the park & saw how many people where there, it felt like trying to find a needle in a haystack of the left side fam wearing white lol 🤍

getting thru the crowd to the front was nuts. basically, you had to go all the way down a single-file line against the fence between bodies until you ended up on the dance floor. our whole crew made our way up there just in time for @billystrings 💙🐐

it felt so good to get tf down w the fam to billy! that little pocket dance floor was on mf fire. it was my first time seeing billy in person & the energy from us all dancing was magical… addicting.

i found a lot of fam there. found chipster. i found the people i was meant to find🥰⚡️🌹💙

after billy i tried to go pee… but getting out of that corner pocket up front literally took the entire set break… didn’t even make it close to the bathrooms before dead & co started… took one look at @ran1mo when the music started & we both darted back into the crowd… last we saw amanda & griff lol

after @deadandcompany first set was over during set break, it got cold & dark down there. vibes started to get a little dicey imo. i got separated from chip, ransom, & calliope & didn’t recognize any fam.

2nd set was awesome, all sets of music were incredible actually… the space was just getting a little too hot… started to get surrounded by & touched/grabbed by random men… which was really not the vibe…

i eventually found @calliopes.and.clowns again & she agreed it was a little darker than we preferred down there, so we headed back to where the bottleneck opened up & ran into @psychedelic__sage & lots of fam in the grass off to the side. aside from drunk chompers, it was the perfect way to end night 1.

i had my ducklings & we were ready for afters 🐥🐥🐥😎
