We’ve been Desert Child. 2022-2026
We are happy to give you our last album, ‘Yip,’ as one last parting gift. This has been the time of our lives and though it sucks that it’s over, man we’re so glad it happened. Playing shows to the people we love most, new friends, and strangers is what live music is all about and we’re so happy to be a piece of history in Tucson’s music scene.
To each of y’all who came to shows and supported us, thank you so much we will never take that for granted.
The music burns deeply within each of us and don’t be surprised to see us on different stages soon enough!

So excited to finally share this new song “Silverfish” with you all. A lot has happened since the last time I put out music, and I can’t wrap my head around most of it but for me, “Silverfish” is a song that gives voice to much of what I can’t comprehend or express. It’s far more intimate than anything else I’ve put out, and that’s probably why it stayed in the vault for so long. But art is meant to be shared yk. Eventually these things need fresh air.

Big shoutout to @alejandro_quilesss for producing and playing the drums on the song. Whenever I work with you, it feels like we’re tapped into the same world together. You brought this song into a direction I could never have imagined. I’m so proud of what we made.

Grateful for my friends, my band, my family. you all inspire me so much.
