P2P IS RECRUITING MALE MENTORS‼️

Perseverance to Prominence is a male development and mentorship program for young men in grades 7th–12th. We’re looking for dependable male volunteers from an AUC school or another Metro Atlanta college who are ready to mentor, lead, and serve. Community service hours are provided.

📅 1st & 3rd Tuesday each month
⏰ 1st Tuesday: 4:35–5:35 PM
⏰ 3rd Tuesday: 4:35–6:35 PM

Each Fall, Spring, and Summer cohort will include workshops on emotional intelligence, hygiene, etiquette, respectful communication with women, professional appearance, leadership, college/career readiness, and service. The cohort will end with mentors and students planning and completing a community service project together.

If you can show up consistently, handle challenges with maturity, and genuinely pour into young men, scan the QR code and apply.

We’re 2 P for Mediocrity.

For the last five months, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with 15 incredible young men at Morehouse College. Project Inspire, in partnership with Morehouse Counseling Services, launched a leadership pilot focused on emotional intelligence, impact, leadership styles, and influence, with an emphasis on leading and pouring back into their communities this summer.

We held open discussions and really dove deep into what brotherhood truly means and how we can become better brothers to one another. We emphasized the importance of Black men stepping into leadership roles within their communities, especially underserved communities, and how important it is for young Black boys to see themselves reflected in us. Special thanks to @terrenceasmith of @killprideclub for speaking and pouring into our boys in their last session.

I’m incredibly excited that we’ve been given the green light to continue next semester. So proud of you fellas. 💙
