Went to see Jay Z in Los Angeles last night. Took my seat and the guy next to me leans over and whispers “Beyoncé is sitting right behind you” yall I turned around and Beyoncé, Kelly, Michelle, and Mama Tina were sitting DIRECTLY BEHIND ME! She waved and smiled at me. We rocked out to Jay “U Don’t Know” and I screamed and cried and tried not to pass out😂 She was so sweet and GORGEOUS! What an experience. I cannot believe that happened to me. Life is so sweet❤️ I am never letting this go, Beyoncé knows me😂👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾❤️

A beautiful evening at the 5th Annual Hustler’s Dinner at Virtue Rooftop, hosted by my childhood friend @__kingchriss a true hustler, a girls’ girl, and an absolute joy! 🌻✨

We gathered in sisterhood, celebrated one another, and raised funds for her family’s nonprofit, @flowingwithblessingsinc

One of my favorite moments was the Wall of Gems. Each woman shared a gem, placed it inside an envelope, and added it to the wall. At the end of the evening, the envelopes were passed out at random. Receiving and reading the message meant especially for me was such a beautiful reminder that we all have wisdom, encouragement, and light to pour into one another. 💎

Saying YES to more life, more experiences, and cherishing every moment! Mara Brock Akil’s debut book release at Morehouse…Girlfriends shaped my view of myself as a Black Woman-I still remember racing home to be in front of the TV Mondays at 9pm on UPN (Toni Childs was my fave) and Being Mary Jane…OMG! I was even a stand-in for Gabrielle Union on that show (but that’s a story for another day❤️) Mara’s vision has been such a big part of my becoming and it was a pleasure to be in the building! “We are experiencing a paradigm shift and we need more builders of the new world”-Mara Brok Akil count me in👌🏾💯

it’s a wrap on rhoa season 17 for me! this season has been a hell of a ride for me with highs and lows but mostly highs. pursuing my masters degree (graduating in july btw🥳) and working this show was tough because we were literally working all week 12+ hour days to bring this show to life. this show can be hell but I will always have love for this show because this is where I felt seen. I’ve been working in production a while and this is only my second season working on this show and I was able to expand my talents because a chance was taken on me.

2.) Neighbors-had pizza, drinks, beautiful people, and LIVE Jazz👌🏾
3.) 5015 was insane😂 we danced the night away
4 .)Triple J’s….have you ever had a loaded baked potato with brisket, boudin, and a rib? Delicious!
5.) NASA Space Center was a blast!

Whew Hollywood lately…

Black Girls in Rome…in Hollywood. 🙌🏾🎬✨ My co-producers irispeynado & blvkbeats along with editor & Associate Producer @jamesmaiki & our entire cast & crew could not be more thrilled with the opportunity to screen our film in such an ICONIC location: The Chinese Theater. Grazie mille @losangelesitalia per tutto!!!

@alafiavision, who worked on Black Girls in Rome 10 years ago, reminded me of the cosmic relevance of circles today, and the fact that I’m presently standing in one that is oh so satisfyingly full.
