almost 2 years ago, my dad was diagnosed with ALS. ALS is a destructive disease that slowly takes away a person’s ability to walk, talk, swallow, and eventually breathe. this has been a really weird and confusing time for me and my family, but my dad has been so strong and resilient throughout the whole process. he is a shining example of how to stay positive in the face of adversity, and i’ve never been more proud to call myself his daughter. we did this walk to raise awareness for ALS because currently, there is no known cause or cure for it. there is a link in my bio if you’d like to donate to help fund research efforts, or just learn more about it. thank you to everyone who showed up for him, it means more than you will ever know. we love you dad, keep fighting and we’ll be fighting right there with you. ❤️ #kickALS
