The calm before the stampede... it was cool while it lasted. Definitely my last festival though (aside from curl fest) #rootspicnic.

Team Fab Finance (and this time I’m not photoshopped).⁣
⁣
Yesterday after all the @byoblive Festivities died down, I held our 2nd annual team retreat. We holed up in a house and focused on the next launch which is the future of @myfabfinance .⁣
⁣
I love my team. No actually, I LOVE, LOVE my team. People ask me how you build a team and honestly, I prayed for each of them. Early on in my career I had an experience with someone I valued and it broke my heart. Rather than get bitter I prayed that God put the right people in my life. ⁣
⁣
@sierraivee We’ve been rocking since 2014. I value your brilliance but also your spirit. We’ve been here before, but you know that. ⁣
⁣
@zakiahaughton You changed my life. Periodt. You’re beyond my sanity support specialist, you’re the reason why I can do what I do everyday. ⁣
⁣
@abufofanah I started as a client and now we’re family. Thank you for always making space for me regardless of the greatness you’re working on. Thank you for believing in my work. ⁣
⁣
Team #myfabfinance. You are special. Thank you for applying your gifts to my work. Thank you for choosing me. Because you all did and continue to I and don’t take it for granted one bit. ⁣

For some reason my team is in Philadelphia dealing with the polar vortex instead of here in LA visiting me and Karris but they managed to photoshop me in so I don’t feel left out 😂. ⁣
⁣
I love each of them. I prayed for a team of good people committed to the work and they go above and beyond. @abufofanah @zakiahaughton @thelibra1016 thank you for being a team that I can lean on. Thank you for laughing with me, praying with me and calling me out when it’s needed. You all are brilliant and I’m blessed that you took up my mission and chose to support me ❤️
