Young people deserve to know that civic engagement isn’t just about showing up on Election Day—it’s about understanding how decisions are made, staying informed, and recognizing the power we have to shape our communities.🗳️

That’s why we joined SIFA’s 2nd General Meeting, where our Texas Civic Engagement Coordinator, Bella Gonzalez, connected with AAPI college students from across Texas to talk voting, civic participation, and building a more engaged generation.🇵🇭⭐

Thank you @sifa.exec for creating space for these conversations! 🤝

Seven stops. Seven stamps. One final picture. 🇵🇭✨

Inspired by Japanese kasane-oshi (重ね捺し), this activity uses a series of stamps layered one over another. Each stamp adds a different part of the design until all seven layers come together to reveal one complete piece of art.

Just like community, every layer plays a part.

Follow the stamp trail throughout Lone Star Palengke, use the clues to find each participating vendor, collect every layer, and watch your artwork come together as you explore!

📍 Start your journey at Mask & Cape on Sampaguita Street, where you’ll receive your postcard and first stamp.

Don’t just stamp & go! 👋 Say hello, explore the tables, and get to know the vendors and organizations that make our community what it is. The people you meet are part of the experience, too.

✨ FREE to participate
🎟️ Only 500 postcards available: first come, first serve!
📅 October 4 at Lone Star Palengke

Find the vendors. Collect the layers. Meet the community. Complete your Kasane. 🇵🇭

FAREWELL, GP26 🧡

After 10 years, GoodPhil returned to Austin, and what a privilege it was to welcome our SIFA community back to our city. As we officially close out GP26, we want to say one final and heartfelt thank you to everyone who made it possible.

To our sponsors, partners, vendors, judges, performers, special guests, volunteers, and everyone who supported us along the way, thank you for believing in GP26 and helping us bring this weekend to life.

And to every school and every student who made the trip to Austin, thank you for bringing your energy, talent, school pride, and love for this community with you. After years of planning and anticipation, it was an honor to bring GoodPhil home to Austin. We hope the memories, friendships, performances, competition, and community from GP26 stay with y’all for years to come.

Thank you for letting Austin be your home this year. 🤘🏼🧡

What an incredible Spring Tour!

From the East Coast to the Midwest, the South, and the West Coast, we had the privilege of visiting college campuses across the country and connecting with so many inspiring students who share a passion for service, leadership, and giving back.

We are beyond grateful to our college partners for their unwavering support, energy, and commitment throughout the year.

Because of your partnership and the amazing events hosted by your student-led organizations, we are able to continue our mission of providing Hope with a Purpose and making a meaningful impact in communities near and far.

We can't wait to see everyone again this fall!

goodphil 2026 🇵🇭🏆

there will never be enough words to describe how much these 4 days have meant to me. i joined philsa in 2022, knowing nothing about filipino culture, and surely knowing nothing about goodphil. however, i had the opportunity to direct spirit in 2023 (shoutout stranger things). afterwards, i knew goodphil wasn’t just about the outcome: it was about the laughter, the tears, and everything in between that occur with the ones you love.

to spirit: as a 4-year veteran, i’ve seen 4 sets come to life, and it’s always a joy to see the process. thank you to everyone for making my last year so enjoyable. seeing the effort put into the set, from choreography to props, was inspiring. being a part of the first a&m spirit team to win 1st was so special, and i wouldn’t want to be barbies with any other team. 🩷

to cultural: as a senior 1st-year member, i was scared of joining since i felt like i'd always be behind. i was so wrong—the love and support overpowered any doubts i had, and there was never a moment when i felt unsure of where i belonged. from auditions in rec 303 to cold, windy nights on wampus, every second i spent with y’all was a second i'll cherish forever. thank you to lebranh and the cads for believing in me to be on this team; I'm indebted to y’all for giving me some of the best memories of my college career. i'm beyond proud of what we’ve accomplished as a team, and the things i've learned from everyone will carry with me for the rest of my life. 3-frickin-peat baby. ❤️💙

to sifa: to say these past 4 days were stressful is an understatement. working 18 hours on 4 hours of sleep every night was no easy task, but our love and passion for our orgs were what pushed us to the finish line. we've been through the wringer together, but we can at least rest knowing that we put 110% into making gp a memorable experience for everyone involved. 🫶

as this chapter in my life closes, i look back on it with sadness that it must come to an end, but also with admiration and pride. the best last gp anyone could’ve asked for by making school and gp history. i love you philsa <3

Brought the hype to the 36th Annual GoodPhil Games in Austin, TX hosted by our Community Partner - SIFA with college students from TX & OK FSA’s! 👏👏👏

It was the largest Filipino student gathering with 14 colleges represented across TX & OK! So awesome to see students showcasing culture, competing in sports, and creating camaraderie throughout the southern colleges & all the Filipino Student Associations 🇵🇭🌟
