This week on Rotation Radio:

Past And Future Memories w/ Sergej Orlov
Date: Saturday, 3 October
Time: 15:00-16:00

About the show:
For this show, I wanted to play songs that have been inspiring me for a while - songs that make me drift away, bringing back fragments of places and faces I’ve encountered, memories hiding away until a melody brings them to the surface once again.

Songs that make me long equally for what has been, and for all the future moments yet to happen.

# Downtempo, New wave

About the host:
I’ve been an avid music listener since childhood in Kyiv and have been sharing that passion as a DJ for over a decade. Mostly I play dance music out, but when I’m listening for myself, I’m just as likely to reach for something atmospheric and introspective.

[SPICE TV] H2O SMOKE BOOTH EP6 w/ Mattias el Mansouri & Sergej Orlov

Sergej and Mattias are two friends, DJs and promoters based in our beautiful home town. Both great selectors and the guys behind beloved club concept Ritmo liminal.

Sergej has been spinning records for over a decade and organizing parties for nearly as long. His sound is deep, groovy and blissed-out house, with occasional glimpses into the playful side of techno and electro.

Mattias is equally active as a producer and DJ. A familiar face in Stockholm, he’s missed whenever he heads to Berlin to play at the iconic Panorama Bar at Berghain. His productions are closely intertwined with what he plays out: house and techno with an emphasis on hypnotic grooves and entrancing mystery.

We’ve had them both play at our club several times and every time we are left feeling fully content and like our disco itch finally has been scratched. They both lead with patience and that classic Stockholm refined energy. Joyful, groovy and at perfect pace.

Sergej and Henrik are joining Aan Zee for the first time.

Sergej has been playing records and throwing parties for over a decade - deep, swinging house with touches of techno and electro. He runs the club concept Ritmo Liminal together with Mattias El Mansouri.

Henrik runs the Bondanza party series and curates the Crisp Commodities mix series on Soundcloud, with a particular love for late 90s and early 00s records.

Two people who know exactly what they’re doing. Looking forward to this one.
