POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I was at a young makers market earlier this summer and complimented an amazing maker’s project name. She shrugged and thanked me and gave credit to Chat GPT. I haven’t been able to shake it because there was no pride and that’s sad, but also realizing what cultural devastation is underway as we parcel out these little opportunities for original creation.

There are many layers to this AI theme, massive job loss and environmental devastation to name a couple. But lately we have been watching AI saturate the creative plane, essentially plowing and seeding an artificial art monoculture rapidly.

This is our 4th restock of these @sightstudy stickers, which means ya’ll are circulating the message. So cool! Let us strive to engage a real person - or our own potential - to express precious business endeavors and community events. Imperfection is soulful. Genuine creation makes us human and the world more diverse and beautiful. There isn’t really any adequate reasoning for dimensioning that holy potential.

#NeuralEpidural 144: EVERYTHING (aka “You In Everything And Everything In You.”)

. . .

EDITOR’S NOTE: Please if something resonates with you SHARE IT. I’ve been either making, designing or sourcing these quotes and videos, editing them and putting some to music, and I created the hashtag #NeuralEpidural so folks can click it and dig back to the origins of the series.

ALSO, I’ve been moving fast with making these so if I don’t credit someone (by tagging them in the lower left corner on that slide) and you know who they are, please lmk so I can.

Really let these sink in, and please help me spread them around. I hope they get in you and exfoliate your psyche so we can all wake up, heal and get to work.

Also, PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE UPSCROLLED APP & follow me there. Much love,

- Jeremy

✨ Do you like the cover to Analog? I wanted to tell you about it today.

The artwork was done by Gabe Schneider of Sight Study, an art & design studio tucked in the redwoods of Northern California. He does illustration, concert posters, and much more and I’ve been enjoying his art on Insta for a while now. Collaborating with Gabe meant bringing all that depth into a book cover: texture, iconography, artistry — things you usually don’t see in a business book. Gabe nailed it. Go check out his work on Instagram at @sitestudy — he’s amazing, and I’m so grateful to have him as the designer on this book.

My friend Rich was the one who told me that the job of a books title & cover is to get someone to pick it up and flip it over, even though the cover might be “a little psychedelic for a business book”… but personally, I like it that way. Fits my vibe.

I’ll share the full acknowledgments when the book is out, but today I want to pause and thank a few people who helped me bring Analog into the world:
💫 Anne Driscoll @aed311 — my love, my constant, and my truest collaborator.
💫 Rich Binell @richbinell — for helping me find the thread that holds it together and finish it.
💫 Gabe Schneider @sightstudy — for making the cover a work of art.

This has been a long road, one I never could’ve walked alone. I’m super grateful — and can’t wait for you to read it. I hope it’s something worthy of sitting on your bedside table or bookshelf and the art brings you inspiration and joy.

Just as a FYI - the kindle is available for pre-order now. The hardcover and paperback that will have this cover will be released Oct 21. ✌️❤️& 📚

Blending folk motifs, textile textures, and graphic composition, Northern California-based artist Gabe Schneider — also known as Sight Study @sightstudy — crafts illustrations that feel both grounded and otherworldly. With a strong presence in West Coast poster art, his work channels reverence and symbolism in thoughtful, tactile forms.
