POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What a ride. 💚⚾
Tonight, our Lakeside 50/70 All-Star journey came to an end in heartbreaking fashion, falling to Hangtown Little League 6-5 in extra innings.

While the scoreboard didn’t go our way, this team gave us everything they had - grit, resilience, heart, and unforgettable moments. From battling through adversity to never backing down, these players represented Lakeside with pride every single time they took the field.

To our coaches, thank you for the countless hours, leadership, and unwavering belief in this group. To our families, thank you for every practice, every team dinner, every cheer from the stands, and every sacrifice made along the way.

And to our players, you should be incredibly proud. You wore “Lakeside” across your chests with determination and class, and you gave our community something special to rally behind.

This chapter may be over, but the memories and bonds created with this team will last forever. Thank you, 50/70 All Stars, for an incredible summer. 💚🖤

WHAT. A. GAME. ⚾️💚

Down 11-4 heading into the 6th inning of an elimination game... most teams would have been packing up.

Not this group.

Lakeside’s 50/70 All Stars exploded for 11 runs in the top of the 6th to take the lead, then refused to let up, adding 6 more runs in the 7th to complete one of the most incredible comebacks we’ve ever witnessed.
Final: Lakeside 21, Folsom National 15.

This team never stopped believing. They fought for every out, every hit, every run, and proved that no game is ever over until the final out is recorded.
We’re still trying to process what we witnessed today. The grit. The heart. The resilience. The belief in one another.

This is why we love baseball. This is why we love Lakeside 💚⚾️
