Meet the 2027 IFI Faculty

The next faculty member for IFI is Mike Church! Mike is the Executive Director at @sigmachi. He has been at Sigma Chi International Fraternity Headquarters since 2005, and assumed his current role in 2014. Mike is an advocate and promoter of a positive fraternal experience and is a dedicated student of his Fraternity’s Ritual, history, heritage, and purpose. In his role as executive director, he advises Sigma Chi’s Executive Committee and Fraternity on strategic initiatives, oversees implementation of the strategic plan, manages the personnel and activities of the Headquarters staff, prepares and manages the Fraternity’s budget, and represents Sigma Chi in several different capacities.

Mike is a returning faculty member for IFI. He’ll be leading the professional philosophy session. This session helps set the tone and goal for the institute. During our time with Mike, he’ll discuss defining your work and why it matters, introduce the idea of a professional philosophy and why it’s important, understanding influencers and detractors, and how to develop your own professional philosophy.
