DERBY DAYS IS OVER!!! We are honored to announce that we have raised over 30 THOUSAND dollars for the huntsman cancer foundation directly supporting life saving cancer research. Congratulations to team DG for raising the most money during Derby Days! And a special thank you to team SK and their amazing derby darling, @olivia__ackermann for winning the Derby Days competition! We appreciate your support and effort throughout the week! This week would not have been possible without the generous contributions of our donors, friends, family and community. That’s a wrap for our 16th Annual Dream Girl fundraiser to support the Children’s Glaucoma Foundation!! We cannot thank you all enough for your support, participation, and energy throughout the night and weeks leading up to the event. We are proud to announce we were able to raise over $78,000 surpassing our goal of $50,000 to go towards the Children’s Glaucoma foundation!!!! Special thank you to our amazing dream girls who put on such a great show and made the night that much more fun. CONGRATULATIONS to @megmmckenzie from @buadpi for being our 2026 dream girl champion!! Thanks again for everyone’s support, without you this night would not be possible.

Our governing board has been busy these past two weekends and we couldn’t be more proud! Last weekend, our President @amandaabangg & VPMI @logan_maturo represented us at Sigma Kappa’s annual summit for collegiate leadership—a national leadership convention where chapters from all over the country came together to grow, collaborate, and lead with purpose. This past weekend, our VPIO @hannah_burkee attended the Alzheimer’s Association community leaders summit, one of only three SK chapters invited because of our incredible fundraising last year. We’re so proud to share that Sigma Kappa was recognized as the #2 National Team for the Alzheimer’s Association! Now it’s officially time to relax and soak up spring break☀️
