I wrote this song about my ex who after a few months of dating, I accompanied to his brother’s wedding in Georgia. While walking alone late at night in Piedmont Park further off trail, he described how he was a suspect to a gruesome stabbing that occurred in the park a couple years prior. He told me that the burner phone he gave me was used off grid after the FBI were searching for him, even interrogating his parents for more information. He had fled to Mexico to avoid the case.

As the relationship progressed more issues occurred and I eventually had to get the police involved for other violent behavior. I wondered if he actually committed the murder or not. I am still not sure and the murder remains unsolved. The woman murdered also happened to be a songwriter. The only other suspect is her lover.

There’s something completely different about photographing a film set. The lights, the movement, the anticipation between takes—and those little moments that happen when the cameras aren’t rolling.

Yesterday, I had the incredible opportunity to step behind the scenes of Ghosts of the Bridge and document a little of the world being created in front of me.

A long day. A great crew. Incredible energy. And a perspective I won’t soon forget.

Sometimes the best stories happen between “Action” and “Cut.”

First time back in the city in about almost 3/4 of a month. God I missed this place. All of these pictures were taken exclusively with my 19 mm lens. It was a wide angle kind of day.
