POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This week on Nostalgia & Now, Kelli is joined by Megan Keaveny, the creator behind @signswithmeg ! Meg shares how a desire to bring a little more positivity to the internet turned into asking strangers to “tell me something good.” The two talk about the old internet vs. the new internet, doomscrolling, growing up online, and why social media just doesn’t feel as fun as it used to. Plus, Meg finally explains why her parents took Britney Spears away from her and shares the very chaotic lineup of songs that shaped her childhood.

I did a bad job taking pics of our little NYC getaway to surprise @signswithmeg because my heart was too full to be on my phone, but here’s what I got! 🤍

Learning ASL one sign at a time! 🤟✨

One of the things I love most about learning American Sign Language is that every new sign opens the door to better communication, greater inclusion, and a deeper understanding of Deaf culture. Whether you’re completely new to ASL or you’ve been signing for years, practicing the basics is an important foundation that helps build confidence and fluency over time.

In this video, I’m sharing some simple everyday signs that can be useful in daily conversations. My goal is to encourage more people to learn even a few signs because accessibility matters, and communication should be available to everyone. Every sign learned is another bridge connecting people who might not otherwise be able to communicate.

Which sign do you use most often? Let me know in the comments, and if you’re learning ASL too, I’d love to follow your journey! 💙🤟
