“Reconnect with that urban past and its creative spirit” We’re excited to welcome urban sketcher @michaelsafwat.art as he brings his unique perspective to the fabric of our city. Known for capturing fleeting moments and revealing the hidden beauty of everyday places, Michael’s sketches tell stories—of people, buildings, and the soul of a city. This workshop is not just about drawing; it’s about learning to speak through sketches, to express the essence of Ismailia—its history, social life, and architecture. Join us on May 31st at Villa De Lesseps for a day of storytelling through lines and colors. You can register your spot by sending us a DM. An honorable mention to our strategic partner and supporter Dr. @ahmad.shokry.982 , the workshop would not have been possible without his support! As we find power in our origin, locality, stories, history, and language, we want other cities to find their own power. The concept began long ago, which is why we created the slogan “Reborn to be Seen,” symbolizing the Arabic word ( رِ ) in the dictionary, meaning “to see.” We started with our home city, Ismailia, to put the city’s unique fabric under the limelight for the world to see. Initiating سين (Siiin) adds more layers to that fabric. And now we have a city in question: Ismallia We believe in our ideas and originality, and so should everyone living in this city. Why سِينْ in Arabic ? “The Arabic language is one of the most extraordinary constructions of the human mind, and some of the great feats of narrative skills.”
