Getting to celebrate the retirements of some of PNB’s most cherished dancers this weekend was such a gift. And surprising my best friend @liz_naka for her final performance? Unforgettable. Having retired one year ago, I know how much it means to have your crew cheering you on. My best friend @faith.score surprised me at mine, and I’ve never forgotten it. Getting to give that love back to Liz, and one last chance to watch her, Lucien, and Ryan dance, was a true gift. So proud of all of you and welcome to the other side. Sending all the love to the @pacificnorthwestballet family I didn’t get to hug this weekend. 🩰🤍

Happy Birthday Daddy! That first photo doesn’t feel that long ago. Getting to sit on your lap and snuggle up in your arms. You have been Gods Fatherly love poured out on me. Thank you for teaching me so much in life- to never take no for an answer; to serve others with kindness and generosity of heart, time & treasure; to see God in the details of everything; to flow and adapt with change, set-backs or disappointments; to live life with a sense of adventure, curiosity and each day with a sense of purpose, knowing Gods made it & has a plan! You are a treasure to me, to our family and to the world! Thank you God for my Daddy, Mr. Bill! You make 80 look amazing & I don’t take a single day with you for granted. Love you!

Estes at home, with so many folks that love him. 1. Me and the little guy 2. @sethissippi, doing the best job parenting Estes I could ever imagine and then more, here with our cat Nina grabbing some extra cuddles. Our neighbors lent us their rocking chair, and it turns out there’s a reason folks have made rocking chairs forever — Estes loves it. 3. @littlelifegiver (Seth’s sister) has been staying with us to help out, and help out she does! I’ve got the best sister-in-law out there. 4. My sister @sikaspock and her kids with Estes — so much love from her and these cute critters, who may be the only rivals for my acute love for E. 5. My loving, caring, gentle and sweet mom @kari.anspach. I’m so so thankful she’s here to hug on this little bug every time she’s out our way (really, any time she can get!). 6. My dad, Mr Bill, out at the cabin with Estes. Estes loves his bapa! 7. Uncle @benmca (and Auntie Leesa, not pictured), talented baby whisperers both. 8. One more of my momma and me, two days after we got back from Milwaukee. The room that morning was as full of love as I’ve felt a place, and I know Estes feels that way, too, anytime any of these and all the other spectacular people he’s got in his life are around.

Can’t believe my baby’s in preschool!!! She had her first day today & LOVED IT! Our social butterfly may be a little young, but shes ready to make some friends & play with other kids. And mama is excited to get back to work & have a little break. So thankful for her Nana @carolynmceliece & @timberlakechristianpreschool for providing a safe place for her to learn & grow.
