POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Have I been dead on here? Yes! Am I going to continue to be? Yes! I'm not huge on Instagram as a whole concept and I've been busy hanging out with friends I made through art! As such would love to introduce y'all to the lovely server created by my two "Walmart" managers and I

Welcome to Walmart! A silly introverted little art server on discord

We have drawing challenges, game nights and chill, laid back vibes!!
We are 18+ and very OC centric in terms of our drawing (if not obvious by the post examples)

We are still active in Art Fight (which is about the only public space I still draw on) so feel free to find us there as well!!

If any of y'all are interested in joining please fill out an employee application online:

Art trade with @silidraws !!!

My part of an art trade, I drew the gorgeous long-eared Aym

First 3 slides are mine, 2 colour variations and a lineart version

Also look at how gorgeous she drew Lionel and Ethan!!!! Literally getting 2 for the price of 1??? (Maybe even 3 if you consider Ethan's book a character too, which I do!!!)

Last 2 slides are the half of the trade done by silidraws, make sure to go and shower her with support and love as well!!!

Tagged by @quirkyartbubble to answer the "artist questions" (with a few grammatical corrections) set!

1. What's your favorite(s) part to draw?
A: It changes from time to time, but I've recently grown fond of drawing hands and legs
2. What's your least favorite part(s) to draw?
A: I dislike drawing butts because they never turn out right and always end up lumpy and/or deformed
3. Who is your favorite artist(s)? A: I like a lot of artists, but in terms of pure inspiration I would say weee (raemz.wordpress.com) and Namie's (namface.tumblr.com) were the two who got me motivated to draw seriously back in 2010. I've been following weee's blog since 2010 (though she's had it since 2007/2008), and watching her improve from her teenage years (she started her blog around the age of 13/14!!) up to where she is now as a professional working young adult has motivated the heckalecka out of me.
4. What do you do when you have an art block?
A: I don't actually get those often, but when I do I read manga/watch anime, eat, surf the net, or take a nap.
5. What do you think your art style will look like in three years?
A: I imagine it'll be far more detailed, and hopefully closer to 'realism' than where it stands now. Better body proportions, that's for sure!
6. Do you listen to music when you draw, and if so, of what genre?
A: yeah! Depends on what I'm into at the time, though typically I like to pull up an OST compilation from an RPG game or an anime and leave that on loop.
7. What's your favorite art medium (graphite, copics, water colors, etc)?
A: I really can't decide, though I do prefer traditional mediums over digital mediums.
8. Do you want to make a career out of your art?
A: yes.
9. What runs through your mind when people ask you to draw them?
A: I feel flattered and irritated. Honestly I rarely get anything done, so.
10. When did you start to really commit yourself to your artwork?
A: Been drawing on and off from 2010 till now, but 2014 is when I seriously set aside my other hobbies (coughs crochet beading guitar knitting clay piano coughs) and started drawing on a regular basis.
