POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

40 years ago today..October 11 #1986
Right on this very spot,that use to be a basketball court is now a parking lot.
Were I would bring out my Soundsystem to do jams,would run a 400 ft extension cord from my crib to power my Dj system because I lived right next to it.I would battle "OZ ROCK" a month after we came back from NYC due to a dispute that we had for him not practicing & not showing up.,I would beat him badly at the time
I was at my prime & my best probably pound for pound the best b boy left on the East Coast,we went to New York City the month before looking for b-boys that we were recruiting to put together a team to go to Vegas & hook up with Jeff Kutash, because breaking had phased out
by that time everybody was into freestyle music,house music etc.Hip Hop had changed.I would end up finding out that he was heavily hooked on drugs which then a year later in 1987 he would end up in prison.These were my stomping grounds the "Hoffman Gardens" housing projects,this is were the name "Speedy Legs" would emerge from..
Stay tuned as by the summer of 2027,I will finally put out my book a lot of incredible stories to tell from Miami,to New York City to Chicago, to Los Angeles all the places I've been & the impact that I left on the breaking scene. Yes a kid from Hialeah did all that..Thanks to Omen @omen305 & Alex @miamiquake that will bring my story to life.#miamihiphop #bboys #speedylegs #tdk

Hiphop took over Budapest - and we loved every second of it. 🤍

🗓️ July 30 – August 2, 2026

What a journey. Huge thanks to everyone who supported us and helped make Silverback Europe and Cypher Town happen in Budapest.

Thank you @silverbackbboyevents @silverback_1959 for trusting us with the opportunity to organize Silverback Europe. 🙏🏻

A massive thank you to @redbullbcone and @redbulldance - it was a true honor working with you and bringing all of this together. 🥹🙏🏻

And right before our event, we had the privilege of experiencing the @redbullbcone Beat Riders Camp up close, right here in Budapest. The energy they brought to the city made this whole week even more special. ❤️‍🔥

Last but definitely not least, thank you to all of our supporters and partners who stood behind us and helped make this possible:

@bambamarhaburger
@hdsa_breaking
@buzzsneakershu
@stay.fresh.crew
@and8_dance
@myudef 🫶🏻🙏🏻

Budapest was Hiphop. See you at the next one. 🇭🇺🌍

Third song is from @djfleg - Japanese Fight Scene💥
