Edge Theory collaboration with the luminous @raz.daram out now, published by @silverfish.digital - order thru Silverfish or find at Art Metropole and Type Books many thanks to dream team @dallasknives and @little_miss_springfield 🌟 “In Edge Theory, Darian Razdar examines the slippery chasm between self and other. Contaminating theory with poetry and vice-versa, this brief and sexy treatise unspools the ever-shifting nature of relationality through a prism of intertextual references, tautologies, double-negations, and double-entendres. Accompanied by eclectic artwork by Alicia Nauta, Edge Theory is a cerebral and sensual exploration of the contours of desire.” 40 pages, 5 x 8in, saddlestich binding. Printed by @colourcodeprint

Let me tell you a story. It ends with you coming to the opening party for my first group exhibition in Toronto ❤️ This summer I collaborated with 5 cool artists and X sexy facilitators to make an artist publication, the @silverfish.digital 003: Hole. You’re looking at where it all started; the first experiment. I was burnt and scarred but I carried forth… Yes, the publication turned out HOT… Now we’re putting up a show for all you visual-kinetic learners 🥰 At the end of the night, I will re-create this performance with you party go-ers🤭 Get together with us this Saturday, December 9 7-10 at @trinitysquare and after… ❤️

A little late posting about this but I can’t believe it’s year three of making this special little book with my friends 💜 Spending this past summer working on Silverfish 003: Hole was such a transformative, gratifying, and above all collaborative experience. So so grateful to @little_miss_springfield, whose capacious editorial vision for this issue animated our working group, and to each of this year’s program participants – @hannnbull @_disks @bojosephh @sainthaarley @abisolaoni @sad_sharp – whose intuition and insight made this issue what it is. Thank you for sharing your holes with us! 🕳 +++ big gratitude always to my fellow editorial team members @__mghamilton__ @sameenmahboubi @bwijshijer, and to @ro.wwwww, who knocked it out of the park this year with the publication design 😪 If you missed the pub launch you can order yourself a copy of this bad boy through the link in @silverfish.digital’s bio 😛 OR come snag one in person at the opening of this issue’s accompanying exhibition, December 9th @ Trinity Square Video!

i wrote a screenplay(?)—an infomercial script for an imaginary anti-yawning device called “Yawn-B-Gone.” it will probably never make it to the screen, but you can read it in the latest issue @silverfish.digital “Hole”! in the meantime here is a hole/portal from a very real infomercial. & swipe for a peek at the publication! IDs in alt text A black and white image is interrupted by a portal opening in the centre. Inside the portal, everything is in colour and there is a hand holding a toothbrush. Text at the bottom of the screen reads “There’s got to be a better way!”
