How BRO Cinema shot a global campaign for EDP which is blessed by eternal sunshine.

For every sustainable idea, and from every ecological research point, EDP has been a world leader (which makes us extremely proud) in energy production and distribution.
The fact that a Portuguese company has in its DNA the extraordinary ability to innovate and take fast-forward steps in every single field of its operational expertise, turned this new campaign, where solar power is at its core, into a singular, poetic, and truly original adventure which took BRO Cinema around the globe.
After months of hard work and team spirit, we are incredibly proud to preview the “BELIEVE IN THE SUN” campaign.
At the heart of it is EDP’s deeply strong belief in a greener future, or as we like to call it, a future with a sunny side up.

The BELIEVE IN THE SUN campaign is directed by @silveriocanto with Cinematography by @pedropatrociniodop and Still Photography by @andrecarvalhophoto .

@GaleriaBelard is thrilled to present our highly anticipated upcoming solo exhibition “Filha do Mar” by multidisciplinary Cuban artist @alejandraglezvisual_artist.

Opening on Friday, May 24, from 6 to 9pm, the exhibition transforms the gallery space into a living ocean, featuring a video art piece, seven black-and-white photographs, and an installation with glass sculptures.

Glez’s art intertwines Afro-Caribbean cosmologies, specifically Yoruba and Taíno myths, reflecting on water as a symbol of healing, spirituality, and feminine identity.

Alejandra Glez, renowned for her multidisciplinary approach, brings a powerful vision that challenges stereotypes surrounding the female body. Her work spans photography, video art, installations, and performance, exploring complex themes such as Afro-Caribbean religions, collective memory, and the spiritual connections between humanity and the sea.

Em Março deste ano, estivemos na Praia do Seixal na Madeira a produzir a performance OYALOKUN da artista @alejandraglezvisual_artist , que será parte integral da sua exposição individual “Filha do Mar”, a inaugurar no dia 24 de Maio de 2024 aqui na @galeriabelard.
