Leaning into Appalachian food and stories. 🌄

I am still reeling from this last weekend. The turnout, y’all’s patience when we got 15 orders within the first 5 minutes of opening (🫪), the kind words of encouragement, the lovely new faces I got to meet. It all meant so much to me. I am humbled by how excited all of you were for food that truly comes from my heart.

For the folks that came and tried out my dishes, I am grateful for you and sad we didn’t have more of a chance to connect one on one! Your presence meant the world to me though and I hope our paths cross again in the future!

For those of you who offered words of wisdom and encouragement, thank you— it means more than words can say. This was one of the hardest things I’ve done in a long time and it wouldn’t have been half as successful without amazing folks in my corner. Y’all are the reason this was even possible.

This has lit a fire in me. I learned so much from this experience and I hope, with any culinary endeavor I pursue in the future, that you all will come along for the ride— embracing the learning human I am.

Cheers to amazing folks, ridiculous flavors, and a community that shows up for weird. More events, food and collabs to come. Deliciousness never sleeps.

Thanks to:
