Some weddings you remember for how they looked. Christa and Dirk’s, we will also remember for how it sounded. 🎶

Professional opera singers who live in Washington, DC, Christa and Dirk chose The Arches for its acoustics and its connection to Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of music.

Family and friends traveled from across the United States and England to celebrate here in Coatesville, with very few guests from Pennsylvania. Many were opera singers and musical performers themselves—and the talent in the room was extraordinary.

During the ceremony, everyone sang. During the reception, Christa and Dirk sang to each other. And when Paul from Silver Sound turned down the music during “Mr. Brightside,” their guests carried the song seamlessly, filling The Arches with incredible voices and joyful energy.

It happened to be our wedding anniversary, too. To say we felt like we were celebrating at a Broadway show would be an understatement. The talent and love that filled the room made it a truly memorable evening.

Amber and Keith had the prettiest light for their wedding day and the rain held off under just after their ceremony. It couldn’t have been better timing. Loved this day! 🤍

It’s fall, y’all, and this is why we love October weddings! 🍂🤍

I stepped away from flipping the reception space for a few minutes and caught the photographers with Christa’s bridal party in that beautiful sunshine. Those fall colors, all the laughter, and KC, the one bridesmaid running in, out, and back to her place—I’m so glad I caught a little of the fun! I hope this makes you smile too!

Sometimes a quick peek outside turns into a moment you just have to share. 🧡

What a day! 🤍 Christa & Dirk, your wedding had us smiling from beginning to end. The perfect couple, wonderful guests, and a vendor team we were so grateful to have by our side.

These two came from Washington, DC, and fell in love with The Arches. Both are opera singers, and with so many friends and family sharing that talent, you can only imagine the music in this room! From singing to dancing to performances, the talent was incredible, and the excitement was contagious.

From the Polish polka money dance to the hora, Jewish and Polish traditions came together for a celebration perfectly unique to Christa & Dirk. Guests traveled from England, Arizona, Miami, Maryland, and Pennsylvania to fill The Arches with so much love.

And we can’t say enough about the dream team who helped make it all happen! Shannan & Steph from The Social Station, Paul & Joshua from Silver Sound Entertainment, Lilly & Christy from PJ’s Bartending, Russell & Emily from New Pace Photography, Brad and his amazing team from Southbound BBQ, and Ben Yocum from I Do Studios. We love working alongside people who care so much about our couples.

Christa & Dirk, thank you for choosing The Arches and letting us be part of such a memorable day. This one will stay with us! 🤍
