So happy that I am ending my year as a journalist with this @musikexpress_magazin issue, including some of my work being featured on the cover.
I’m so proud of myself and of what I have pulled off over the course of the last weeks. I could not have imagined this years ago, and to now see my name under so many bylines is truly special.

Thank you @stephanrehmrozanes and @hellawittenberg from the Musikexpress team!

Thank you @aida_berlin, @uncle_tupelos_nephew, @linusvolkmann, and @silvi_silko, who literally years ago gave me the confidence to keep pushing and writing. I still cannot believe that I managed to make a living out of writing this year. It might not make me rich (it truly doesn’t), yet it enriches me in so many ways. Thank you @jan_clausen_92 for believing in my work early on and giving me the chance to meet wonderful people along the way (nostalgic, symbolic Roskilde picture included). Thank you @dan__aiden, @frankafrei, @aimless_x_arrow, @polarnoirmusic, @rosie_serious, and @melonenvogel for your friendship and shared rants this year.

I am excited to see what comes next and — behold — I have capacities for 2026 starting in February and am looking forward to more writing, podcasting, radio hosting, and so on, so shoot me a message.

But for now, I am finally falling into winter slumber. Happy holidays! ❄️

„Von wegen Ladies first“

Take notes from Silvia Silko!
