This is what homeschooling second grade looks like for us. 🥹🤍

I’ve had many people ask me how I do it.

Some people may wonder how slow mornings, pajamas, watercolors, and worship music fit into a school day.

But for us, it’s all part of the foundation.

When her mornings begin with peace instead of pressure, she’s able to ease into learning with a happy heart and an open mind.

Painting encourages creativity and focus. Worship fills our home with His presence. Slow mornings give us time to connect before diving into our lessons.

Nurturing her heart, encouraging her curiosity, and allowing her to simply be a kid is just as important.

By the time we open our books, she’s ready to learn. She’s already regulated, confident, and engaged.

This is what works for us, and what a blessing it is to experience it together. ✨
