Lil Graduation dump 👩🏾‍🎓🙂‍↕️❤️

Storytime 🙈: I will never forget my last day of 2nd year where I went to the university office to hand in my placement book to be graded. I left that office with tears in my eyes as I reflected on how hard the last two years had been for me and the fact that I had 2 years ahead of me to go. From feeling like I was constantly behind, having to do re-sits and feeling burntout at times, I left that building feeling like : I genuinely don’t think I can do this anymore 🥲

As I walked home with my heavy feelings, trying to disqualify myself from continuing my degree, the Holy Spirit (the Bible calls him the comforter) spoke to me and told me that I was never qualified to be on this course in the first place. I thought to myself, wow, that a bit strong , don’t know how that’s supposed to make me feel better 😭. But He was right, I never had the qualifications needed to get on the course in the first place. It was God’s grace that got me in and it was only God’s grace that was gonna get me out. After, a Bible verse that my shepherd had spoke to me came to my remembrance:

Philippians 1:6 (NIV) - being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus ❤️‍🔥

And just like that 💥, I was encouraged and this verse became my fire & fuel to keep pushing forward because I believed that regardless of whatever would happen ahead of me, My God, who doesn’t lie, would see me through! 🥰

Now here I am, not just 1 but 2 degree’s hotter 🤭🔥 (MSci), and I can only give all glory to God 🙂‍↕️❤️🙌🏾

A big thank you to all my family and friends who supported through my journey and joined me to celebrate my accomplishment 🥹❤️✨

I can’t wait to see where God takes me next 💕
