Hi lovelies, I hope ur all enjoying Wildfire! here are some bts moments with the incredible people that brought the song to life 🍁🕯️🌙🥀🖤

Here’s a sneak peek of the first session for the record! Here we tracked acoustic guitars, electric guitar, bass, drums, and mandolin. The 6 of us were set up in 3 different iso booths all playing at the same time. The energy in the room felt so magical that day, all of us playing off of one another, the instruments interacting in a way similar to a human conversation, everyone just letting go and playing anything and everything during the bridge. Felt all the feels that day, and this became one of my favorite sessions I’ve ever played ✨

Tracking slide gtr in my bedroom!! Cheezit is the best stu cat everrrrr

Lead vocals day!! aka a therapy session with my producer </3

More cheezit the stu cat content ft. bridge bgvs in my first boston apartment :)

This was our first take of the scream! I love going to the studio just to have a mental breakdown into the microphone :) 10/10 very cathartic

I can’t believe I’m sitting down here writing this: Wildfire is out now!!!!

I have been imagining this day for the past two and a half years, and somehow it doesn’t feel any more real yet…somebody pinch me ✨

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved on this record. The experience of taking this song from just me and my guitar, to the full-fledged cathartic chaos ballad that it is now was genuinely one of the most magical experiences of my life. It means the world to me that all of you put so much passion and care into my song. Thank you for matching my whimsical forest spirit energy in the studio each and every day.

When I wrote this song, I was beyond heartbroken. I harbored resentment for my past experiences with love, grieving not only all the time and energy I had put into a relationship that I felt had burned out just as unexpectedly as it started, but the version of myself I lost along the way. I didn’t realize it fully then, but writing wildfire was the match that lit the path to finding the person I am today, and I am so so grateful for her, and all of the healing, growth, and new beginnings she brought my way.

And to everyone reading this post, thank you for reading, listening, watching, etc. for being alongside with me on this journey, I am eternally grateful and humbled that my music resonates with you all 🫶🏻

And this is just the beginning folks! How serendipitous, since tonight is a new moon after all 🌝

Stay tuned for more soon, but for now scream along to wildfire to your heart’s content 🍁🕯️🕰️🥀🖤

Until next time,
Ren <3

4 years and now it’s done!

@berkleecollege has been a blast but now it’s time to move on to the next adventure.

Happy to say I’ll be headed to Nashville trying to make as much music as possible.

Thank you to everyone that made this place so special, I made some lifelong friends and absolutely came out a more well rounded person from this experience.
