BEHIND THE PROCESS , TEXTURED HAIR SHOT INTERNATIONAL WINNER. 🏆 At the start of 2025 I set myself a five year goal, to win a @oneshothairawards trophy. 6 months later I was holding one in my hand and I could not believe that…. When preparing for this years one shot, I actually thought how amazing would it be to put Australian Textured hairdressing in the map…. A tall and lofty dream, but I set about working towards this new goal. DREAMS ARE THERE TO BE CHASED AND IF YOU DON’T CHASE YOURS, SOMEONE ELSE WILL TAKE OVER. To me, this award represents more than a trophy — it’s a symbol of what’s possible when passion, persistence, and purpose collide. The weight of this recognition lies in the company it keeps — standing alongside industry icons and creative giants I’ve long admired. But here’s what I want to share with anyone chasing a dream: You don’t need a big budget, a big team, or perfect conditions to create something extraordinary. What you need is belief. Discipline. And the courage to keep going when no one’s watching. So to every individual artist out there — with no budget, no team, no blueprint — know this: You can create something that moves the world. You can stand among giants. And even when you fall short, rise again. Because every step forward is proof that you were brave enough to begin You won’t always win. But every time you rise again, you get closer to the version of yourself who can.
