Another NEW discovery — this time in ancient Persia.🔥 An Iranian named Simia, who read The Missing Key, independently recognized the same architectural signature we’ve been tracking and reached out after spotting it at Persepolis — this time within a single localized structure inside the palace complex associated with Xerxes I. What makes this so important is that the design doesn’t appear across the entire site — only in this specific enclosed area, likely older than the surrounding Achaemenid construction. And within that temple? The same step-pyramid / T-shaped threshold geometry we’ve documented around the world — now appearing again in ancient Persia. This led me to explore the structure more closely, where I found the same tiered step-pyramid and recessed doorway forms precisely carved into monolithic miniature temple elements — nearly identical to the motifs seen on the Kef bas-relief at Kef Kalesi, as well as parallels in Peru, Bolivia, Egypt, and Cambodia. In other words, the same architectural language is expressed at both the site layout (macro) scale and again in the carved stone (micro) details — a powerful convergence that points to intentional design rather than coincidence. 🧩 Here’s the exciting part: this discovery started with a reader of the book. Lamb & Potato Chap with Fenugreek Yogurt - Extra Good Things by @ottolenghi & @noorishbynoor . If you’re not familiar with potato chap…get ready to indulge. A treasured snack in Iraqi cuisine and the Middle East, it is also enjoyed throughout East Asian communities. Chaps can be served as a starter, at gatherings or as a stand-alone meal with a fresh garden salad, which is what we did.😋 Just imagine biting into crispy yet fluffy potato clouds stuffed with spiced ground meat, sautéed with browned onions and an intensely fragrant spice blend including fenugreek & coriander seeds, chili flakes, turmeric and lemon juice, all tossed with a generous quantity of cilantro and another splash of lemon juice. Careful, the minced meat is so addictive it’s hard to stop eating spoonfuls before actually getting around to stuffing the potato shells!😬😂 No wonder the chefs rightly suggest that the scrumptious meat filling could just as easily be served on its own with the funugreek yogurt over rice! Hubby & I enjoyed stuffing, sealing, rolling and pressing the chaps into patties before frying them until golden & crispy. Served with drizzles of fenugreek yogurt (Greek yogurt combined with the remaining fenugreek spice mix), a scattering of cilantro leaves, and extra bowls of the lamb meat filling, fenugreek yogurt and cilantro, because the more extra toppings the better, right?😍🤩 For other options/veggie diets use soya mince, mixed veggies (eggplant, mushrooms, etc), chicken, beef… Joining Deborah @rainydaybites and #rainydaybitescookbookclub ‘s Jan 29 challenge, featuring Extra Good Things.
