THIS ONE HAS MAIN EVENT ENERGY. 🔥🥊

Santa Clarita Valley’s own Kevin Salazar is stepping back into the spotlight for a high-level showdown with David Aguilar of Simi Valley — and this matchup has all the ingredients of a must-watch war.

Kevin comes in as one of the top young names in the country at his weight. He owns a 3rd-place finish at the 2026 National Junior Olympics in Wichita, a runner-up finish at the 48th International PAL Tournament in Oxnard, and is currently ranked #5 in USA Boxing at Intermediate 138 lbs. That résumé says it all: Kevin has already proven he can compete with the best, and he’s still hungry for more.

But don’t sleep on David Aguilar. The Simi Valley boxer is bringing plenty of momentum of his own, including runner-up finishes at the PAL Tournament and the California Junior Golden Gloves. He’s tough, tested, and stepping in ready to make a statement against one of Santa Clarita’s best.

Two talented young boxers.
Two hungry competitors.
One ring.
One chance to take another big step forward.

This is more than just another bout — this is the kind of matchup that shows what the future of amateur boxing looks like. And if you know boxing, you already know: this one could steal the show.

Professional boxing is entertainment, so to be successful a fighter must not only win but he must win in an exciting manner. He must throw punches with bad intentions.
