POV: you meet someone, spend a few weeks getting to know each other…

… and suddenly you’re on a plane together flying to Malta for a Punjabi music festival 😂

I never posted these because, at the time, we were very much still in our incognito era 👀

We had only met a few weeks before this trip. Two days before Breaking Boarders, somehow he managed to change a name on an existing flight ticket to my name.

Next thing you know we’re sitting on a beach, figuring out our plans for the evening.

It just so happened that my cousin and his friends were at the same festival.
Within moments of him meeting Arun - he was trying to take him off my hands 😂

Genuinely did not see that one coming 🥲 (see he’s trying to get Arun back in the picture)

Experiences like this aren’t about the food or the aesthetics but more so about the people you meet who match your energy ✨

It’s the small moments where you feel like things are exactly where they should be 💗

Arun 🤝🏽 Punjabi music (we miss you Karan!!)

The last time I was in Malta was nearly 10 years prior to this trip, the summer before I left for university. Crazy to see how life brings things back round, full circle ⭕️

This was the Kush x Arun show because I definitely have more photos of them two together than anything else

Was it spontaneous?
Absolutely.

Was it slightly unhinged?
Probably.

Did we have the best time?
100%

Looking back, I’m so glad I trusted my gut and just went with it.

Sometimes life doesn’t give you a five-year plan.

Sometimes it gives you a flight ticket with your name on it, two days before departure 🙂‍↔️
