i won my first coffee competition!! whoop whoop 🥳🥳 and it was a signature drinks event @simmoscoffee with @darkartscoffee and @yallahcoffee 03.10.2027 I have never made my own signature drinks competition before so I went in completely blindfolded ahaha We were each given a random box with weird ingredients to create a signature drink using a cold brew base Only 7 minutes of preparation time from when we saw what we had to brew with 🫠 (two of planning, and five of prep) In the first round I had to come up with something using mango puree and mango syrup, black pepper and mild chilli pepper, I think I used something else but I can’t remember ahaha In the final round I got pickles, all spice powder, mild chilli pepper, plum puree and blueberry syrup. The result ✨five spice pickled plum fairy✨ the combo of ingredients was not supposed to work, but it did!! I used @yallahcoffee cold brew as a base and @oatly whipping cream The whole event was so much fun and everyone came up with crazy good drink combinations, so glad I got to try them all Maybe I should try to make more signature drinks at home ehehehe :) Thanks @gnormanperry for the shared footage!! #coffeecompetition #coldbrew #signaturedrinks #londoncoffee #filtercoffee

I’m bringing Coffee Omakase to Sontag. Next week across 2 days, Thursday October 1st and Saturday October 3rd, I’ll be bringing a small selection of my favourite coffees as of late, along with the signature drinks from the last 2 seasons, to Sontag. I’ve long admired Sontag for its great selection of filter coffee, so it’s an honour to step out of the typical seated and intimate environment of Coffee Omakase for the first time and serve quality items to a wider audience. Many guests have asked during sessions, how they can try my signature coffees again, and this is one of those rare scenarios that will happen!
