#REPOST @merseywayworkshop

We’ve added a jolly selection of festive workshops to our website. Really excited about this one - Furoshiki Gift Wrap with @simmthingcool.

Saturday 22nd Nov, 10:30AM.

Furoshiki are traditional Japanese wrapping cloths. In this workshop, you’ll carve a lino block, stamp your design onto fabric and master Furoshiki wrapping techniques while your creations dry. Learn a new creative skill and add a personal, eco-friendly touch to your festive gift wrapping!

Limited spaces - book now through the link in our bio 🌟

Part 5/6- 🤩 thanks for coming everyone. Another relaxing Sunday morning. Such a great mix of new and familiar faces, it’s always such a pleasure to chill, chat and draw with new and familiar faces 🫶
.
✨️ special thanks to team @pip.mcr nestled within Manchester’s @staytreehouse and only opened 4 months ago. It was such a pleasure to draw this gorgeous restaurant-cafe-hotel! The smell, decor, lighting, colours and textures were beautifully put together to create a luxurious, fun and relaxing vibe. I can’t wait to pop back for a sunday roast and a cheeky spa day too👌
.
💕
Until next time!

A nice day out in Liverpool at The Liverpool Print Fair at The Bluecoat. Lots of lovely Printmakers and a great vibe. Plus a pint in The Munro afterwards meeting my son from University...any excuse to see prints and meet more Printmakers.

Apologies to anyone I haven't tagged but it was lovely to speak to you all... and Sam, my long suffering wife, (Printmaker by marriage as she calls it) will attest.

A major plus is I'm on next to see Elizabeth Willow at The Bluecoat Craft Centre as a meet the artist.😁🤩

Paul Simm AKA @simmthingcool creates bold and playful linocut prints that capture the eye and spark the imagination.

What started on his kitchen table has now grown into a cosy studio space in Chorlton, Manchester where he brings his ideas to life; inspired by the music he loves, old stories from near and far, and anything else that catches his attention.

With each piece, he invites people to take a closer look and enjoy the mix of fun, curiosity, and the little bits of life that make people smile, including the #sheffieldprintfair team.

Red, Redita, Redinchi.

Our second foster dog stayed with us for exactly 4 weeks and she’s off today to a trial with, hopefully, her forever family 💜

The smartest, cuddlest and gorgeousest of all.

¡Buena suerte!🍀

A couple of photos from yesterday's print fair and workshops at @the_bluecoat. We're back again today for more, with a lino workshop at 12pm, a screen printing demo at 1:30pm and a sold out woodblock printing demo at 2:30pm. Visit our website for more details on how to join in today.

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported independent artists yesterday by buying some of their prints.

Also thanks to @simmthingcool, @made_byada, and @laura_alice_print for running such excellent workshops for us, as well as @the_bluecoat team who helped us make sure everything kept running smoothly.

See you later on from 11am for more of the same!
