One of the things I love most about the gym is its simplicity. Show up consistently. Train hard. Eat with intention. Recover well. Do that long enough, and you’ll get results. One of the reasons I love the gym is because it’s binary. You either do the work or you don’t. You either lift the weight or you don’t. In a world full of uncertainty, shortcuts, opinions, and things outside of our control, the gym remains one of the few places where effort still has a direct relationship with outcome. It’s one of the few places left where cause and effect are still brutally honest. You don’t negotiate with the weight. You don’t talk your way into progress. You earn it. Maybe that’s why I keep coming back. The physique is great, but the reminder is even better: What you repeatedly do today becomes who you are tomorrow.
