New wines to try with specialty crafted dishes? Say less.

Learned what biodynamic wine making is with @gerardbertrandofficial wines. Now I must visit the south of France again 💜 paired beautifully with @simonandseaforts

A little excitement with our local @anchoragefiredept @cory.kelly.12 assisting a choking woman 👏

Then becoming inspired with @ashtastik08 to host our own wine pairing nights heading into the Alaska winter season 🍷

Til next time! My belly is full!

Alaska eats. Best thing in Anchorage is Yamaya seafood which is a one man operation (since he was widowed). Just good Japanese soul food. 1. Yes chef 2. Tempura set 3. Miso butabara (pork belly skewers). At Lake Clark dining options are limited so thankfully the resort takes care of all that for you. 4. Steak with chimichurri 5. Roast chicken 6. Carrot cake 7. Pancake with reindeer sausage 8. Open faced crab sandwich from @simonandseaforts 9. Half Tanner crab from @flamingoloungealaska #alaska

Alaska is the type of place you visit, and by the time you leave you’re already wondering when you’ll be back🏔️🐟 A few highlights and recommendations to anyone thinking of going: •Stay at the Double Eagle in Homer, and make sure to get a halibut charter through @northcountryak. Highly recommend the boat Beau Soleil! •Play the last golf course on the USA road system @homergolf. •See some glaciers, whales, sea lions, and jellyfish with @kenaifjordstours. Wear Birkenstocks even the Alaskans will think you’re crazy. •Check out @resortalyeska for their Veilbreaker Skybridge and spa •Go to @simonandseaforts in Anchorage if you want to eat the best damn halibut on the planet🫡

To summit up - Alaska was incredible 🏔️🤍

It’s crazy to say that these gorgeous photos don’t even scratch the surface of how gorgeous Alaska was. We had an amazing 10 days with Sara exploring Cooper Landing and the rest of the Kenai Peninsula - a perfect mix of planning (wildlife sightseeing, a spa day, exploring the mountains), and spontaneous choices (many drinks at the brewery & sunrise, surprise karaoke, blueberry picking). The perfect recharge as summer comes to an end. Can’t wait to go back ❤️

Visit Anchorage: Simon & Seafort’s — I wanted to eat Alaskan Black Cod, and @simonandseaforts had it on the menu, so that’s where we went.
