My 12th @superballworldopen Freestyle Football Championships comes to an end 🙏

One of very few UK representatives this year 🇬🇧 My goal was to do better than last year and avoid Division 2. With a couple of decent performances in the battles I achieved this and wasn’t a million miles off sneaking into Top 32. No shame either in losing to the new World Champion 😅 @abelfreestyle_ who was incredible! 🧲 A pleasure to share the stage with him and everyone else this year, congrats to all those who got on the podium especially, it was great to see so many people’s hard work paying off and goals achieved 👏 Still proud to represent my country on this stage and I leave this one with even more motivation! 💪 Thanks to everyone for their support from close or afar ❤️

8th place in Iron Man too, still hunting for a big one over 1 minute when it matters most 😤

Really nice to be back on livestream commentary duties as well for a bit, always feel in my element with that! 🎙️

Not being a part of the crew this year though was super refreshing. I was able to enjoy this one a lot more. I really appreciated the opportunity to train and catch up properly with my favourite people from all over the world. Not to mention watching the finals not through a screen in some capacity, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and beautiful moments throughout the week 🙏

I see some criticism of this event and of course everyone is entitled to their opinion, could aspects of it be better? Sure. But I have almost entirely positive things to say about this week, it might be a reality check for where this sport is at right now but I’m so glad I came, it was expensive but 100% worth it personally.

Immeasurable thanks to @thewffa for their hard work in putting together this event with limited time and resources, and to @superr.opa @gymxl_amersfoort for hosting us, the 🇳🇱 people are truly a shining example within this beautiful community 🙌

Finalmente muchisimas gracias a todos con quienes pude hablar español esta semana y me ayudaron con eso 🙏😅

Grateful for the memories made, back to the drawing board! 🧑‍🍳

Today is not only about @rowdyheinenfreestyle .
Today is about my BROWDY. 🎤❤️

We know each others since a decade but for the first time, we shared the microphone — but over six incredibly intense days @superballworldopen we ended up sharing so much more.

200 freestylers from all over the world. So many competitions. Victories, heartbreaking defeats, joke, unexpected results, game of words, incredible comebacks and moments that left everyone speechless.

We witnessed and shared joy, tears, tension, pride and pure emotion. We experienced our own feelings behind the mic, while also carrying and sharing the emotions of an entire community.

That’s what made this experience so special.

So today, on your birthday, we all celebrate you: freestyler, MC, BROWDY — and an important part of this beautiful freestyle family.

I know you’re still in the Netherlands with some of the freestylers, so enjoy the celebration, have fun and make the most of it.

Happy birthday, my BROWDY.
Until the next one… and THANK YOU VERY DUTCH! 🇳🇱🎤❤️

Elit ⭐️ The jury

Tävlingarna bedömdes av en internationell jury. Jurymedlemmarna har långa och framgångsrika karriärer inom freestylefotboll. De var väldigt överens i sina bedömningar men jag lyckades fånga ett tillfälle när de tyckte olika.

This is what I live for❤️‍🔥

Connecting people through the football. Sharing creativity, positivity and love

Building a community where everyone is welcome exactly as they are…

During these days I was constantly looking around, seeing smiles everywhere. My heart was filled with gratitude🫶🏼

Despite all this, I had an important reminder

Take care of each other. You never know what is going on in the minds of the people around you. Show them attention, care and love

We need to be there for one another, as the family we are. What hurts one, hurts us all. At the same time, when one thrives, all of us thrives

Let’s grow together!

I love you all❤️
