Saturday morning — Vitality Bayrun Half Marathon 🏃🏼‍♀️🌧️

Rainy. Freezing. Tough. And definitely not the easiest conditions to take on 21.1km… but Simone still showed up and got it done! 💪🏼🔥

The race didn’t go completely according to plan and she had a few struggles along the way, but that’s what makes this finish even more special. Instead of letting the tough moments get the better of her, she kept pushing, kept moving and finished strong! 👏🏼

🏃🏼‍♀️ 21.1km

🌧️ Rain
🥶 Freezing conditions
💪🏼 A whole lot of grit

Running isn’t always about having the perfect race. Sometimes it’s about how you respond when things get hard — and Simone showed exactly that on Saturday. 🤍

Well done, Simone! So proud of you for digging deep, trusting yourself and getting yourself across that finish line. Every tough race teaches you something, and every finish makes you stronger for the next one. 🫶🏼

One step, one kilometre, one tough moment at a time. You finished strong — and that’s what counts! 🔥🏃🏼‍♀️

Indoor Hockey Festival | 2–4 October 🏑🔥

What a weekend of hockey for Simoné and the Emeris Sharks! 🦈💙

The festival brought a bit of everything — tough games, big challenges, lessons learned, moments of frustration, but also plenty of fight and determination.

Friday kicked things off against Crusaders Blackbirds, where the Sharks went down 0–3.

Saturday morning brought another tough game against Emeris Blues, ending 0–12. But the team didn’t let the results stop them from getting back onto the court. 💪🏼

Saturday afternoon they faced UHG Comets in a hard-fought game. They gave it everything, but unfortunately a few silly mistakes cost them the game, finishing 1–3.

Sunday morning brought another battle against UHG Comets. It was an intense and competitive game from start to finish, with the Sharks eventually going down 1–2. Sometimes sport really does come down to the smallest moments — and those are the games that teach you the most. 🏑

But they finished the festival exactly how you want to finish — with a WIN! 🔥👏🏼

Sunday afternoon, the Sharks took on Invitational and came away with a fantastic 4–1 victory! And to make it even better… SIMONÉ GOT ON THE SCORESHEET! 🥳🏑⚡

What I’m most proud of isn’t just the final result. It’s seeing you keep showing up, keep fighting and keep learning even when things don’t go your way. Every game gives you something to take forward — and every challenge is part of becoming a better athlete.

Well done, Simoné! 🫶🏼 Keep trusting yourself, keep working hard and keep enjoying the game. Your journey is made up of all these moments — the wins, the losses, the mistakes and the breakthroughs.

And what a way to end the festival… 4–1 WIN + a goal! 🔥🦈

Proud coach moment! 🐝🏑
