Waiting for midnight before setting off for the next leg up the coast.

Phantom was watching us eat fish and chips on the shore.

So we left for 3 days and it turned into 3 weeks, but the job is done, it was a co.plete success 🙌 time to get back on the water!

🐬 Dolphins joined us for around 15 to 20 minutes on our morning into Coffs Harbour.
I saw one jump in the distance and called out to it, within 2 minutes we had around 10 playing with the boat.

absolutely fantastic fun.

Phantom is staying in Coffs for a couple of weeks while I handle some work in Sydney, it's only been 5 days and we're already itching to be back on the water!

we left Port Stephens at the beginning of Sunday(midnight) weren't sure if we would make the tide for the bar crossing at Laurieton if we left in daylight.
And we really wanted our first bar crossing to be in the light.
We also had am alternate. If the passage is going well double down and go all the way to Coffs Harbour.

we're currently 5 hrs from Coffs, it's Monday 9am.
31hrs sailing so far.
seas 1-2m (mostly 2m) long period so relatively comfortable.
wind when we started was great 15kts. died at about 11am to 3knots and we spent a totaly of 8 hours under motor, in the evening after dark the wind filled in and we've been happily hitting 6kts all night and currently in 9-15kts of breeze beam reaching.
