In 2003 John Mercon, Mercon Industries put out his 2nd movie called ‘The Guatemalan Persuader’. This is the most awesome and most fucked up ski movie of all time! And I love it.
The movie has pretty much every single person in it that was involved in our sport that year. So if you want to see every style of skiing in 2003 and be entertained like never before… Go what this shit!

Fun fact. The movie is called ‘The Guatemalan Persuader’ because all of our idols, Glen Plake said he would only be in the movie if they gave it this title. Mercon said ok, but you have to perform the Guatemalan Persuader for the opening shot of the movie… and that is what you called the fuck up shot in the intro. Hahahahhahahahahah

In 2005, just 2 weeks after Tanner broke his ankles on Chad’s Gap, Simon Dumont did this at Park City.

Craziest thing was Simon was back on skis in less than 2 months… Tanner was back in 6 months and won his first gold at x games in super pipe 10 months after his accident. They both nah normal.

This is how I got this image… 😮‍💨

First, find yourself an incredibly talented cliff jumper like @mistamoon_ , then watch this video so you understand how the image came together 📸

This was my first time ever shooting cliff jumpers, and man was it fun!!

I asked @mistamoon_ after the jump if he knew who @simondumont was and if he knew of his infamous x-games Superman double front… different sports, but a legendary trick in any sport in my eyes 😮‍💨

This shit is fucked up. Simon Dumont set the world record for highest air out of a quarter pipe at 35.5 feet / 10.8 meters in 2008. Simon nah normal.
Step your game up youth 🤣🤣🤣
