Ich habe eine Hassliebe zur Technik.

Letzte Woche waren wir mit dem Dorfgespräch Grindelwald von @grindelwald_eiger zum ersten Mal ausserhalb von Grindelwald. In Zürich, bei Thomas Wüthrich, Direktor von @visitzurich und selber Grindelwalder.

Es war Folge 28. Angefangen haben wir 2023, als erster Videopodcast einer Schweizer Tourismusregion. @simone_surfs produziert auf Seite Grindelwald Tourismus, Bruno Hauswirth war wie immer als Gesprächspartner dabei, ich mache Technik, Video, Audio und moderiere.

Vier Kameras, drei Mikrofone, mobiles Studio. Und genau dort fängt es dann an:

➡️ Der Raum tönt anders als letzten Monat. ➡️ Das Licht ist auch anders.  ➡️ Und ab und zu sitze ich eine halbe Stunde in einem YouTube-Tutorial, bis ich begreife, wie die neue Technik funktioniert.

Aber ehrlich: Was heute eine einzelne Person alleine hinbekommt, war vor zehn Jahren ein Team. Das finde ich absolut genia!

Ich nehme euch heute mal kurz mit hinter die Kulissen. Eigentlich wollten wir die neue Folge vom Dorfgespräch ganz entspannt oben auf dem @maennlichen drehen. Bestes Wetter, super Kulisse. Aber die Berge hatten mal wieder andere Pläne.

Views from the other side.

Day 2 of the Mountain Days took us across the valley, up to Grindelwald First. It was my first time here in winter, but it is still my favorite perspective in the area. The panoramic view of the iconic peaks of the Bernese Oberland, like the Wetterhorn, Schreckhorn, Finsteraarhorn, Mönch, Eiger and Jungfrau, is simply magical.

If you ever have the opportunity, take the hike to Bachalpsee. It is about two hours and absolutely worth it. On calm days in summer, you get that perfect reflection of the peaks in the water and it turns into one of the most beautiful mirror views in the Alps.

And if you are looking for a bit more action, this place has plenty to offer. From the First Glider and First Flyer to the Cliff Walk, there are enough ways to get your adrenaline fix while still taking in the scenery.

Adjusted plans, found better views 🏔️

Day 3 in Grindelwald: we hiked up to Männlichen and did the Royal Walk - a short trail to the summit with epic panoramic views over the Swiss Alps (totally worth it 👑 a must-do when you are here).
The last and first time I was here was in summer, due to the foggy weather I didn't see anything that time
But now, finally I can witness how powerful the mountain range are 🥹(wanna scream again ahhh🥰)

We had a really spicy 🔥Lunch at Eigergletscher - yeah, they put super spicy chilli on Cheese Slices (what's Käseschnitte called in EN? 🤣) -then a scenic hike back to Kleine Scheidegg before heading home with a panoramic train ride at golden hour.

Best kind of ending if you ask me. Would you take this route?

🥰 Running on pure mountain happiness 🏔️ Grindelwald Mountain Days

On Day 2 we started with sunrise at First Cliff Walk: we had the whole place to ourselves!🥹 The silence, the views, the Swiss Alps waking up by sun ray… I don't know why specially in this moment I can feel the power of the mountain super intense - what I could do was smile, my heart was screaming😱❤️‍🔥it was on fire & I couldn’t stop jumping around like a happy mountain goat!🐐🤣 sorry, it's true. Haha.

From the Cliff Walk to hikes to Bachalpsee or down to Schreckfeld - First has soo much to offer🔥
The foodie tour also kept going on Day 2 with yummy ravioli & swiss cheese fondue🤩

Vor vier Jahren ein Bier in der Hand - jetzt ein Mikrofon.

Seit rund zwei Jahren darf ich gemeinsam mit Grindelwald Tourismus den Videopodcast Dorfgespräch Grindelwald gestalten und moderieren.

Grindelwald ist die erste Tourismusregion der Schweiz mit einem eigenen Videopodcast – und ich habe das Glück, als Produzent und Co-Moderator an der Seite von Tourismusdirektor @bruno.hauswirth und @simone_surfs dabei zu sein.

Die aktuelle Folge bringt dabei eine besonders spannende Wendung: Zu Gast ist @hombi80, Leiter der @ilovemyskiinstructor – mein ehemaliger Chef, als ich dort vor etwa vier Jahren selbst als Skilehrer tätig war.

Damals habe ich mir einen Lebenstraum erfüllt und stand Seite an Seite mit anderen Skilehrern im Pausenraum der Skischule, mit einem Bier in der Hand, wie es sich gehört (am Feierabend). 🍻😄

Eigentlich wäre ich im Anschluss für längere Zeit nach Kanada gegangen, um dort zu arbeiten und meinen Auslandstraum zu verwirklichen. Doch wie wir wissen, hat das Jahr 2020 so einige Pläne umgeschrieben – und mich letztlich in die Selbstständigkeit geführt.

Es fägt! Ich bin gespannt, wo mich das Leben noch hinführt! 😃
