One thing I will never understand is how the hit song “One Sweet Day by Boyz To Men and Mariah Carey never won a Grammy. Like Simone Boyce said in “Boy Band Confidential,” the Hollywood Demons special event, “It was sweeping, emotional and tugged at your heartstrings.” This song is about not taking things for granted and reuniting with loved ones in heaven. The lyrics “I know you’re shining down on me from heaven,” it is the core theme of what the song is about. As a result, Boyz to Men took a year off and canceled their European tour.

Given the fact that “Hollywood Demons” explored controversies on The Jerry Springer Show this season, The Steve Wilkos Show, which was a spinoff of Jerry Springer would be perfect for next season. It was like the modern version of Jerry Springer. Lies, cheating, misconduct allegations and polygraph tests were just a few of the many harsh truths on that show. Plus, Steve Wilkos also had his own legal battles off the show to include a DUI arrest. There’s nothing more to say other than this would be a perfect case to do on Hollywood Demons next year.

Last month, it was announced that Investigation Discovery’s hit series Hollywood Demons will return for a supersized third season featuring eight episodes. With the expanded episode order now confirmed, here’s my updated prediction for the shows that could be featured in Season 3 next year, along with a special Hollywood Demons event focusing on the case of Madonna, one of the world’s biggest pop stars, who was stalked by a dangerously obsessed fan in the late 1990s. I’m predicting this two-night special event will premiere on Monday, April 19, and Tuesday, April 20, with the third season of Hollywood Demons premiering the following week on April 26. We’ll see if any of these predictions come true! 👀📺

With an all new season of “Hollywood Demons” returning to Investigation Discovery soon, I have a prediction on the film schedule. My guess is filming would start in late September or early October. Filming would conclude in late January of early February of 2027 and the series would return on Monday, April 26th. On a more positive note, I didn’t know Simone Boyce could sing, but in the 4th episode of Hollywood Demons this season, she sang a small snippet of Prince’s iconic song “I Would Die For You.” A lighthearted moment during a serious discussion about the consequences of misbehaving doctors attributing to the demise of famous celebrities.

Two contributors on Hollywood Demons this season on Investigation Discovery really stood out to me: Simone Boyce, an entertainment journalist, and Reena Friedman Watts, host of the Better Call Daddy podcast.

Simone’s insight, storytelling, and perspective added so much to every episode And Reena’s contribution on “The Jerry Soringer Show” delivered viewers and me a lot of inside information that I did not know despite watching that show several times over the years. I’d love to see both of them return for future seasons of Hollywood Demons.

Before “Hollywood Demons” began on Investigation Discovery in March of 2025, Quiet on Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV was the first show that really combined true crime with the dark side of fame and pop culture. That show was about allegations of misconduct behind some of the biggest shows on Nickelodeon to include iCarly, Drake and Josh and The Amanda Bynes show. Many others to include Chris Brown: A History Of Violence as part of ID’s “No Excuse For Abuse” campaign, “Fallen Idols: Nick and Aaron Carter” and more were on ID between 2024 and 2025 before Hollywood Demons began.

When “The Power Rangers” episode of “Hollywood Demons” aired on Investigation Discovery a year ago, Dr Drew Pinsky mentioned that The Power Rangers has similar attributes to “High School Musical” and the 90s sitcom “Saved By The Bell.” “Saved By The Bell” became an episode in the 2nd season of “Hollywood Demons” back in May of this year. It leads me to ask one question: How did ID and Ample Entertainment decide on doing Saved By The Bell as one of their episodes and could Dr Pinsky’s mention of the similarity between the Power Rangers and Saved By The Bell have had an impact on their decision?
