👻 Grim Tidings by B.K. Borison 👻

H’s Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

💭 Thoughts:
This book was amazing! I loved the Lovelight Series by this author, and this brought back the same type of cozy writing from her that I loved… with a lot more spice and a paranormal element. This is the perfect fall read, and I loved it even more than Good Spirits, the first in the Ghosted series. The chemistry between the main characters was spot on, and the conflict was unique. I could gush on and on about it! It recently published on September 15th, so do yourself a favor, and pick it up ASAP!!

Thank you to Avon and Harper Voyager and NetGalley for this ARC in advance for my honest opinion.

⬇️ QOTD: Please recommend more paranormal romances for me for spooky season!!!!

✋🏼🤫 The Whisper Man by Alex North 🤫✋🏼

H’s Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

💭 Thoughts:
This thriller was SOOO good! I loved it and was kicking myself for putting off reading it for this long. It was graphic, creepy and had several twists and turns. I could not wait to see how this one ended, and my heart was pounding up until the end. I loved the serial killer plot, and the father/son relationship throughout the book was sweet. I definitely recommend this one for spooky season!

⬇️ QOTD: What are you looking forward to this week?

☀️🌙 Sun, Moon, Rising 🌙☀️

Awhile back, I saw a post from @bookedonbeaches shared from Penguin Random House that said “your sun, your moon, your rising but it’s your favorite book, a book that made you cry, and book you always recommend, GO.” For me that’s In the Weeds, The Collected Regrets of Clover, and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo 🫶🏼

⬇️ QOTD: What would be your bookish sun, moon, and rising? ☀️🌙

⚡️🦋 Into the Blue + The MASH Up Mini Reviews🦋⚡️

💙 Into the Blue by Emma Brodie

H’s Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5

💭 Thoughts:
The pacing in this one was all over the place, but I did end up liking it by the end!!! It even made me cry! I really enjoyed it on audio! Julia Whalen narrated, and she’s one of my faves! The improv sci-fi tv show was a fresh take, though the main characters in the book were MESSY with a capital M. Check the trigger warnings on this one before you read!

🌈 The MASH Up by Laura Marie Meyers

H’s Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5

💭 Thoughts:
I loved the premise and nostalgia of this book, but the main characters were really immature. I wanted Ruby to stay in the mash world and not go back… because going back then chasing what was happening in the mash world felt weird and like the plot repeated (if that makes sense). This is a sweet, lighthearted book, but I felt like it could have been executed better. I feel harsh, and I know I’m in the minority, as so many have loved this one!

⬇️ QOTD: What is your favorite 90s/00s trend?
