“I would have never thought to travel to India.”

Sometimes the experiences we least expect are the ones that stay with us the longest ❤️

It was such a pleasure to have you as part of the crew for Expedition 001 @angelkoskii_samuil. Thank you for being part of the journey and for sharing your experience with us.

“The highest form of intelligence is the ability to observe without evaluating.”

J. Krishnamurti

Something to sit with.

Not just to see a different world, but to question the one you know.

In Varanasi, we step into a world of chaos, contradiction and ancient traditions. We also spend time looking at J. Krishnamurti’s enquiries which challenge us to question everything we think we know.

In Rishikesh, we make space to slow down, practice and engage with the traditions of yoga and meditation.

In Tiruvannamalai, we encounter the teachings of Ramana Maharshi and the fundamental question at the heart of this expedition: *Who am I?*

Three places. Different experiences. An invitation to look more closely at ourselves and the world around us.

Not a search for ready made answers, but an opportunity to explore the questions that matter.

We believe there’s a growing need for shared experience that bring us back to what matters. A space where we can come together, cultivate belonging, and explore the bigger questions.

Last Friday we partnered with our friends @simonleeyoga and @risewithrumour for a 3 hr yin and sound journey to regulate our nervous system, practice presence, and reconnect to our spirit and sense.

Thanks to @wilsondorset and @soen.nz for supporting our first session.

The tribe. One whiteboard. Two hours on Ayurveda. 💛

Our very first official Mother India Community gathering, with our brother from another mother, Simon Lee @simonleeyoga

Five elements, three doshas, the gunas, and real tools everyone could take home and use for themselves and their families.

Floor cushions, scribbled notes, and Liquid Gold on tap all night.

Thirty strangers walked in. They won’t be strangers at the next one.

Gathering No. 002 is Saturday 7 November 👀

We can’t tell you who yet.

All we’ll say is he’s our favourite artist right now, and he’s in the business of healing too.

He just does it with music. Guesses welcome. We won’t confirm. We might wink. 😉

Aroha to @thebuttonfactorynz for holding the space, and to everyone who came.

Soil to Soul 💛

Three destinations. One expedition.

We didn’t choose these places at random.

Each one plays a different role in the journey… from arriving and encountering India, to slowing down, reflecting, and eventually going deeper into the question at the heart of the expedition:

**Who am I really?**

Three destinations. Three different experiences. One journey inward.

**Why India?**

India represents something much larger than geography.

It represents a question humanity has explored for a very long time:

**Who am I?**

And what is my relationship to all of life?

India gives us an opportunity to explore that question not just through information, but through immersion.

You can only plan so much when you come to India.

Part of the experience is being open enough to let India take the reins from time to time.

To follow the rhythm.
To notice the movement.
To sit with the stillness.
To experience the beauty, the chaos, the contradictions and everything in between.

Because sometimes the best moments are the ones you never planned for.

We’re doing it again.

14–31 January 2027.

18 days through India.

Exploring the places, philosophies, practices and traditions that have shaped us, while asking a much more personal question:

Who am I? Really.

10 people.
3 facilitators.
A handpicked group.
A very different way to experience India.

If you’ve been feeling the pull towards India, or towards something you can’t quite put into words, maybe this is worth exploring.

Who am I? Really.

Have you contemplated this question? The who that sits beyond the labels and identities.

This question was one of the core explorations of self-realisation by Sri Ramana Maharishi , one of India’s widely regarded sages. We visit Maharishi’s ashram towards the end of our 18 day expedition to India to invite this contemplation of Self.

India offers the mirror to reflect. And each curated experience to opportunity to dive into this question a little deeper. Who knows what you’ll find.

If you hold a place on our January 2027 trip, Drop us a message to connect 🙏
