What a weekend!

We debuted our collaborative moving image installation CROSS-CURRENTS as part of the Open Northfleet Festival- which fused strands of animation, film, photography, music and poetry from local artists.

Projected onto a familiar domestic scene, the installation captures the beautiful interference of thought and perspective that runs through our community. You could tune into a tangle of stories and hear as memories cross wires, and witness a collection imagines worlds merging into a dynamic display built through local open calls as well as community animation workshops led by Ernesto Moisei- Gallardo.

Thank you to everyone who came down- we would love to know what you thought in the comments ⬇️

It’s been almost a year in the making when Elle and Harriet began developing the idea, along with Hannah Whittaker! We couldn’t be prouder of the work thag was put into the piece- thank you to all the people who submitted their work!

We’re now accepting SUBMISSIONS for a new series of EXHIBITIONS at our gallery space in Detroit!🔥

This is an open call with no specific theme, as this will allow us the greatest ability to create a variety of interesting exhibitions. Our primary focus is on contemporary landscape and documentary photography, but even if your work falls outside of that, please don’t hold back from submitting. Even if we don’t find a place for your work in one of these exhibitions, we’ll be looking for every opportunity to use it for something else, including our Substack Features, Instagram Features, and Mini and Monthly Monograph Magazines.

Head to the website to submit your work!⚡️Link in bio.

We welcomed Charlotte of @joeandcharlotte into the studio to capture her process as part of our ‘Labour’ series; a deep dive into human made creative work and the people behind it.

Charlotte is a very talented sign writer & visual artist; using traditional techniques to bring businesses, front doors and shop fronts in Kent & London to life. It was an honour to watch her process, gold leafing a traditional letter onto glass, up close from start to finish.

Swipe for some BTS of us in the studio, more of charlotte & other makers to come soon.

Allow us to introduce ourselves.

On the left it’s Liv, @baked_liv_ baker and all round big dreamer and on the right it’s Scott @scotthumphrey_fp who is crazy enough to go along with all of my harebrained schemes.

When I’m not baking I’ll probably be sleeping but Scott is a DJ and all round music enthusiast so chat with him about that.
We also have a 19MO baked good (H) who is always our main inspiration at Crow HQ. 🖤🖤
