Y O U R H A M S T R I N G S A R E S L O W I N G. . . . You down. You race every week, or get out for a ride with your mates. And seem to always be battling a niggle because you've spent time in an aggressive position. When Adam of @bpcflowbiort came in with his new bike we spotted something that was off. His right hip was forwards and he was sitting to bias this side. The result was that his left hamstring was at full tension when he rode in an aero position. What we did from a bike fit perspective: • saddle lowered 7mm • bars raised 10mm • cleats moved 5mm rearwards What a bike fit didn't address was his posterior chain issue. Thankfully @simonorrcycles of @sophysicalphysiotherapy Got to work with Adam and he is now back racing and getting points in races! Imagine addressing your bike fit and then not working on the root cause of the issues. I regularly recommend seeing your local therapist to help with these issues. Collaboration of minds makes this even more beneficial for people and athletes.
